Well, I suppose it's time to 'fess up. Unknown to most on here with the exception of @Moriarity and a few others, I do have one Chevrolet engine sitting under a workbench waiting it's turn to be put to use. I considered sticking it in my 4 door Merc but then what would I do with the perfectly good flatty that looks right at home there?
My thanks to Mick and Saltracer for their measured response to my post. Upon reflection, I realize that divisiveness has no place on a classy site like this one. Your points were well taken and my apologies to others who may have read and not responded.
Yeah but the 9" Ford and the Hemi probably AREN'T the parts you are letting go of...just the dumb ol' Chevy parts
I do have one of those ford grain truck/pontiac super duty hood scoops that can be had. And some 42 Plymouth parts.
Hey Scotty, I know this is a long-shot...and even rarer than RPM valve covers, but I heard Lloyd @Lloyd's paint & glass is looking for a pair of rare Offenshitten valve covers to go with his M/T (mushy turds) air cleaner
I got some ultra rare M/T valve covers from @Lloyd’s paint & glass He can have em back with a “handling charge”
5 years ago a guy answered the question and said he made these valve covers and could make others on request with what you wanted to say on them. He was in Santa Monica Ca and had his own foundry as I recall.
