    James D,
Well the '53 is very cool also!
And in '53 NO other '53 American car looked modern after seeing the Stude!

  3. Here's one I rescued from 37 year slumber.
It took one month for me to realize it
would take me too long to finish!
I was lucky somebody wanted it 3 times more than I did!
Just a maybe, I would like to see it "DONE", with just
a set of torque thrusts, same color same body!
If not it's OK, I can still dream!

  4. I could add cars here all day.
This should be easy for you guys!
    Leave everything as is.
Just remove the rear door handle and move the rear cabin
forward to meet the windshield and make it a 3 window coupe!
Only if you are "feeling" it like I just did!

Not sure if you ever saw one of these cars but they are IMMENSE. The guy in the photo is standing in line with the front of the grille, not in the background.

  11. Thinking of putting white walls on my 40. Could someone photoshop them on the wheels that are on it, and chrome wheels with the 40 caps?
    Much appreciated.

Hope you don't mind me adding some color to see what it looks like with the two-tone paint scheme Moose. Not sure if the original was metallic or not, but I went with this since metallic would be way hard for me. Restored 2.jpg .

Ive just discovered this thread after all these years! I have to learn this, I wanna try the rear of a 58 Impala roof on a 57-60 F100 cab. No back glass.

Are you talking about the fake vent on top of the 58 chevy roof ?

20210415_045556.jpg The whole top and back pillar. No A-pillar from the Impala yet, unless it happens to look better

Wow. I don't see that happening without a lot of work.

Here's the truck you drew over a photo of an Impala.

And your sketch over a photo of a stock F100.The slope and height of the Chevy is a lot lower than you have depicted.

Considering a '58 Ford for sale, but I don't like the front end. Please feel free to change anything besides the hood and headlights, which I like. And this is just a photo I grabbed off the 'net so feel free to use any '58 Ford Fairlane photo.
My taste runs to earlier in the 1950s, so integrating earlier bumper & grille is a possibility. At this point I just want to see what can be done to "un-1958 Ford" it. a203d284b9a32fe077ad4fe9024b6256.jpeg

@madfish and @7berkmerc thanks so much for the renderings.

Yeah, I expect a lot of work and rework. Sectioning and chopping. Getting the wheelbase right. Grille and headlight challenge.

By the looks of it, the cab is gonna have to be sectioned.....ALOT! Looks like the front of the roof may have to be tilted down a bit, too. May have to try out some different windshield posts. I dont think the Impala windshield will look quite right. The F100 windshield might be better.

It will look a bit different with the 60 Olds trunk and body line running down the side.

    Thanks again guys!

I left the headlights and hood alone, as requested, but I would rework those if it were mine. Simple shave and remove the grille center bars. Best feature for me is the distinctive honeycomb grille like the Squarebird. I like bullet grilles, so that's what I used.
