  1. White or silver from the drip rail up or maybe dark green. Plenty of pearl or flake either way

Yeah i wouldn't mind raising it up a little, I'm not even sure what's going on there. I changed one side on the rear that was broke, and it didn't change anything, so I'm assuming shackles, but i haven't investigated. And I'm sure the coils have been cut. It was like that when i got it.

NO shackles; I'd use some coil wrapped overload shocks with a shock bar added between the frame rails. Could try the same thing with the front. I've "pre-loaded" front coil wrapped shocks with shock extensions, and it added about 1-1/2 inches. That's what's in the rear of my delivery; the front is OK. I am butch/56sedandelivery.

I meant maybe somebody lowered it with short shackles lol. I was considering some air shocks o_O but i haven't made my mind up. And I'm also a cheap ass. Wonder if i could add a couple of leaves to each side? I've got a couple of complete bundles laying out here.

That's the plan, I'd love to have it painted in time for the hot rod reunion, but the way work is piling up in the shop, I'm not sure if it will happen! I'm gonna do me bestest though :D

I’m gonna argue with the crowd and say I’m not real keen on that much green...

Naw, go ahead and paint it red, but you gotta have gold leaf lettering and ladder's hanging on the side's, gumdrop lights on top, and an old coffee grinder siren bolted to the front fender!!! :p Maybe some hose coiled up in the back, too! LOL!

I kind of agree...maybe do the upper panel in gold and have it lettered "Lloyds Paint and Ass...er, I mean Glass;). That way you can "write off" the entire build as a business expense.

Maybe even some thin gold scallops:D

Yes it is a lot of green. But I'm gonna flake and pearl the top white. I've kicked around the scallop thing, still nothing nailed down ;)

^^^Now THAT is a great idea^^^. Paint whatever color, but have it lettered with your business name; tax write off and advertising (unless this is't an on-paper business) at the same time. Think you can't keep up with things now! It would be interesting to have it done up fire dept style, like a chiefs car maybe. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Yeah it's on paper, trust me, tax season just passed  after a whole life in the fire service, the last thing i want is to look at a fire dept vehicle when i come home. April 2025, i will grow a beard to my pecker, never wear navy blue clothes again, and have hair like @hotrodjack33. Almost like my parole date

I like that shade of green that's on it on your shops' T-shirt.

The only blue i like is the late model GM "blue me away", and that crap cost WAY too much for my blood. If my car was perfect it might be an option, but this thing is a true to the word beater/driver that I don't plan on being a show winner. I'd rather spend that time and money on my other project :D

Threw a set of air shocks on it, put 70 lbs in them, wait til morning and see if they leaked off lol. Sure makes the rear tires look small. 20210427_193900.jpg 20210427_193919.jpg

Front tires are too small in my opinion. They are 215/60-15. I took the front wheels off and threw them in my truck, gonna try to find some 205/75-15 tomorrow.

Agreed on some taller tires. I was amazed what taller tires on my t-bird did although they looked huge at first in comparison... They were 2-1/2” taller than what was on it. :D
