This is my next project. Very nice build What the plan for the front breaks and is that a BSA in the background
No front brakes. Just rear hydraulics. Its a a 1958 royal Enfield/Indian Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Lots of time standing back, drinking beers to get it right haha Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
@T_N_A are you going to run the blower when it's done, or is it just there as a mock-up? It seems as though it's from a later period as compared to the era of this******in' build.
Fantastic Inspiration to the Good Ole Days indeed...You know when there are Buffaloes and Whippets the Dry Lakes aren't far away...
What Chrysler model and year axle is that? I expected to see a "double-hump" axle then saw your front view picture.....
I think its a 27 or so. Not that familiar with the chrysler stuff Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Ya definitely superchargering it. Its a late 30s/40's build. 3-71's came out in the late 30's. Barney Navarro put one on his car in 47...doesn't seem to far out of place Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Will you be running a chain drive? They are as cool as ever on the early setups. There's a blown V860 powered modified that runs a single belt drove for everything - that's a hot setup for this period too.
Its a Model T....whens that last time you saw front brakes on a T?? Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
subscribed! looks great man.... tell us more about your front end which is basically what I have planned for my T...like did you sleeve the axle to put the wishbones on? did you mill that area on the axle or the bones? what year are your bones? do those spring mounts that wrap around the axle come off if cut here and there or is it a grind off procedure? I see the areas where they were but can't tell what you did... I've been eyeing mine up wondering how to do it.....do you know if bearings/seals etc. are still available?....sorry about the 20 questions lol I'm just really stoked to see the set up i've been planning (flipped crossmember too) the only differences are I was going to use the stock 6 bolt wood spoke hubs with adaptors(speedway) for wide 5 rims and '47 bones unsplit under the rails to add caster (and also because I have heard that tube axles and split bones don't play well together...) otherwise identical
Drilled and welded new bosses in for the radius rods perch bolts. Had to open up the radius rods. The new boss are about 2.5" wide. The spindles where machined to fit the T/buffalow hubs. So bearings are easy to find Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Her are some pictures of the rear suspension. 1934 axle, 1934 split wishbones, T spring, custom rear hangers I built. Sent from my SM-G965U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
