Brett (GreenMtnBoy) woke up Sunday morning in Knoxville, Tennessee to find his truck missing, it was stolen from the motel parking lot, it's his daily and not hamb friendly but it is a nice Red C-10. HRP

The truck is not Hamb friendly, just putting the word out from a good guy that lost his truck. HRP

 

Sad thing is it just turns into another stolen vehicle report, I know law enforcement has better things to do though.
Seems like over insuring your vehicle is about the best option anymore.

Hope they find it. My buddy's go to rod run every year, and one of them had his 68 Camaro convertible stolen there. He took it into his own hands, and it's back in his garage now, and the guy that bought it for $500 got his head beat in.

 

Get a rope! If you don’t hang him, at least drag him a ways. I hate thieves!

I have no use for the ******* that steals . Matter of fact if he gets caught and sent to the farm for a few days , I will take up a collection for his cell mate to welcome him aboard make him feel at home !

Used to be these ****s would get at least a couple weeks, enough time to be welcomed into the fold, ( and some non consensual rough ***)

 

Yeah but apparently he wouldn't tell where he got the car. Wasn't my deal. My buddy Roger. Long, funny, story. Roger busted all of the windows out of the house, finally the guys mom gave him up. Roger tells the story better. Moral of the story is don't wait on the cops, because the truck will be gone. Rogers car was one of the original Ms America cars.

 

The really sad thing is this seems like a targeted theft.
Truck is most likely ( I hope not) in a container going over seas. Huge market for our old cars in China.

up here the big one is stealing a nice car, then buying some clapped out field find for the tags and papers.
You see this stuff come up for sale at times. An add where they are selling a fire wall and door jamb with “ historical papers” easy enough to recon a vehicle and away you go.

such a damn shame as car guys where some of the last honest and trust worthy guys left.

Id watch him drink a 6 volt battery, then beat him with the battery. Nothing lower then a thief and those who enable thieves.

I don't know, I would think the police will check it out.

Brett did tell me he was parked in the back close to the dumpster, I really doubt they have a camera watching that area but we can hope so. HRP

 

Glad your friend got his car back. However, the prudent thing was to call the cops when he found it and let them handle it. No sense for him to dole out his brand of justice which could possibly land him in jail. Play it smart and call the cops, what would he have to lose?

 

After calling the cops and being told that there was slim chance of ever getting his car back, he got it back on his own. He didn't want insurance money, he wanted his ****ing car and he got it back.

 

What he had to lose was one of 50? I believe, Camaro convertibles that was given to the Ms America contestants. His is the Ms Georgia car. Plus sometimes it's just fun to beat some ***.

 

Like Ryan says, steal my **** and I'll kick your teeth out?? Ain't that how we roll? His rules doesn't say steal my **** and I'll file a complaint with the police. Yuppie or hoodlum, your choice. Ok I'm done.
