I’m having issues with the 39 coupe. It’s scheduled to be inside. I’ll probably end up taking a 56 Customline.

 

What's up with the '39 Scott?

 

Engine has a tap sound in it (was that way when I bought it) so I dropped it off at the mechanic yesterday. Haven’t talked to him yet but a friend stopped by there and he told him there was an issue with push rods or valves.

So the engine had a valve train problem but it looks like it will get straight. It was running on 7 cylinders and it didn’t have the correct rocker nuts. They weren’t able to adjust or snug down properly. Getting new ones put on tomorrow.

 

I'm looking forward to it. All the cars are great, not the off topic junk you see at typical shows and cruises . Been waiting 2 years so I hope the weather is good .

Got the valves adjusted and she is running good! See ya at the show. I should be in my 39.

63 and breezy in PA Saturday, hope it's a little warmer there in MD.

 

Just no rain would be great

 

Looks like rain. Hopefully forecast will change. Yesterday it was saying no rain for Saturday, but it now saying there is.

 

A 40% chance means that it's a 60% chance that it won't

 

Just on case it does rain... I made an aluminum top insert this week

 

I've checked three weather reports and two said "partly cloudy", one had a 16 percent chance of rain...

 

I'll be coming down from north Jersey in the roadster rain or shine, about 4 hrs. Got the Bop Top on and Rain-X with fingers crossed! See you there!
