    @the-rodster

    I recommend Gearhead's Quickchange Exchange:D

    New, rebuilt or parts.

    Dealer for Winters with a discount to HAMB Alliance Members.

    Cost is entirely dependent on how much work you are willing to do, how much time you have to wait for good deals and how set you are on a particular brand/style.

    Halibrand 201s like the Rolling Bones car you pictured are in high demand. Probably cost about the same as a Winters SR3605 to set one up correctly and you would still not have a limited slip differential.
    A Champ is a much better value.

    PM me with what you want and I will quote you.

    If you want a recommendation, I would need to know the following:
    Engine Torque ( I don't care about horsepower)
    Transmission
    Rear Tire
    What Brakes

    Everything else is dependent on these.

    I have about $300 in the Winters for my '37. But it is based on scrounged parts and trades.
    The brakes however, cost me about $2000 for the pair from a '69 T-Bird. NEVER, EVER send parts to someone without having the money in hand. That was 25 years ago, an expensive lesson, well learned.

    Finally, don't listen to the naysayers. A Quickchange a real HOT ROD PART. Read my tag line.

    IMHO only a Halibrand 201 is correct. Ron rod4.jpg
