I removed the rear window trim, door panels, and seat to prepare for seat belt install and interior work. I want to seal the floor and inside of the quarter panel below the window while i'm at it. A previous owner welded in new metal to repair rust in the cavity under the window, but did not seal the inside. I can see the bare metal on the back of the patches from inside the car. I also do not see any drain holes. Were there no drain holes from the factory or did they probably just get sealed up in the rust repair? I****ume I can just drill a small hole at the low spot and carry on with my sealing. Thoughts?
