Dick Landy driving an Andy Andrews sponsored Ford at Lions Strip. Andy was a used car dealer across from Bob's Big Boy in Van Nuys. He sold used high performance cars. In 1961/62 I bought a '60 Bonneville (factory four speed, tri-power, no power steering or brakes--a bitch to steer) and a '59 Corvette from him. Andy was a character much like an early Richard Rawlings.
My dad worked at the st.louis assembly plant from 62 till 80 then 81 till 99 at the bowling green assembly. Wonder is he would have known the guy performing the marriage.

Ron, I probably never met you, but I bet we drove by each other 50 different times. I used to cruise over to the Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake almost every evening, and then over to Bob's on Van Nuys Blvd., and up and down Van Nuys Blvd. a few times, and then into Culver City to the Wich Stand Drive in, just all over the place (gas was cheep). Those were good times, and I miss them. Andy Andrews also sponsored Landy in his first S/S Plymouth (in 1962) and also John Wenderski's 1962 Chevy 409...
