Anyone care to remove that grill bar and that trim from the nose of the hood and around the grill opening ?
I was telling my friend that since he removed the bumper that it gave it an overbite look and he should just remove those pieces too.

Used a '60 merc grill in there... Still needs something else..... Or something different.

Almost every single g***er in the old magazines have those pieces removed, less weight means goes faster !

I like the red (or is that plum?) Just a small touch but think it needs a little bit of red elsewhere too, to tie it all together. This pinstripe might do it...

 

can i see this roadster with a whippet grill and radiator? weren't there two sizes? the 28 was narrower than the larger 30? can i see it with both?

I want to do something with the headlights on my 50 Lincoln. Options: add removable covers (something like a baby moon hubcap). Blank off the headlight buckets altogether. Add another set of stock headlights to make quads. I think the best is to weld on buckets from a 55 Lincoln.

if you like either one of those, have you considered just chroming the ‘A’ grille surround....
