Was watching the Isle Of Wight concert from 1970 where Kris almost ran from the stage at the end of his set. Some of the hippie crowd was getting angry the show wasn't free and a lot of damage was done and some of the other artists who were performing were left having to explain the concept that expenses had to be paid and not everything is free.
I guess that's why they make both chocolate AND vanilla ice cream. I know he can't sing, but neither can Janis or Neil and I like them too.
Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothing ain't worth nothing but it's free. Kris Kristofferson
The funny thing is that song was the only one Kristofferson performed at this Isle Of Wight festival before leaving the stage and I thought that was a hell of a long way to go just to play one three minute song.
The Belond and Cummings Diesel are both good looking cars . Do you know if there were competitive. It must have been hot in the streamliner with the canopy.
The Canopy was removed for racing..Jim Rathmann finished 14th after starting in 20th position in 1955

Not sure whether it was this GMC powered Indy car. But 1 GMC 12 Port did qualify but upon tear down inspection a crack in the crank was found and it was not allowed to compete since they didn’t have one readily available. I have no idea whether ALL engines went they that much scrutiny or not. But it still happened just the same.
