I think I'm like 5 or 6 miles from Point Pleasant WV
    Trying to diagnose.

Sorry, I’m nowhere near Ohio. What are the symptoms?

She just quit. Was running fine down the highway. Just had stopped and filled up. Trying to diagnose. But not sure if the file pump took a dump. Can't hear it. Trying to check for it though. But it was a clean cut off. So looking for spark too.

At this point if I could get it somewhere safe and get a rental home, I'd just come back with my trailer

Electric pump or mechanical. If electric, check fuses.

Gas in carb bowl or not? If there’s gas in the bowl, pump may be ok.

Got a helper? Hard to check for spark by yourself.

There is a byp*** on the MSD6AL box. I forget were though.. This is why you want to keep a single points ignition. You could just disconnect the med box and go home on the points..

  13. I just posted a moment ago on another thread about the little primary wire on the distributor. Those get wiggled and bumped enough, the core breaks or gets loose. I'll just throw that in the pile here. It's easy to check and fix.
I guess that applies to MSD too??

I got it towed. Then I got a rental and booked it home. Going back for it with truck and trailer tomorrow. I think it’s the msd box but am not sure. It’ll be few days to find out. I’m just a little exhausted.

Damn Scott, I'm sorry to hear that. Buick looked awesome at the show. Good luck with your retrieval and fix, it was a long weekend

got the car off the toad...Good first step, hope the little guy was OK. LOL.

Seriously though, I rescued an OT car (2003 Marauder) = $1300 bucks, on its way to the junkyard, 300/7839 built that year and twice since 2019: I had to get towed for $400 each. Runs great until: the engine computer took a dump, then until: the water pump died. The PRICE FOR DRIVING COOL, instead of trendy.

Thanks. The car is home now. So maybe I'll get a chance to look at it this week. I can then get it out and send it down to you.
