Talked to the owner a couple years back at NSRA louisville. Had me stumped too. It's out of a '55 Willy's Bermuda.

That figures ... how is your mid 50's Ford build coming along? Sorry I didn't get to meet you and talk kustoms.

Sort of on hold. Been traveling a lot with work again. The goal is to get the interior sewn up for the roadster, then attack it full force. The wife really wants to take it to Indy next, year but I am thinking that may be a bit aggressive.

Not anymore. It’s blown completely apart. Motor and tranny comes out when I get back, hopefully.

This awesome patina-laden Ford is one of our Omaha brother's sweet rides. It has so many subtle touches and a diamond pleat white interior that he and a friend did themselves. We are proud of Mike Lewis's sweet drop top.

Mike Lewis of Omaha is the owner of this ride which he claims is his wife Sarah's. He and one of his mentors the late Harry Olson did the interior themselves, a stunning job. This awesome drop-top
has some great custom touches that a very subtle.

Such a clean mild custom. Pics do not do the paint justice. Very crisp, laser straight. The bumper/grill had me thinking it was a '53 Merc, but on closer inspection, looks to be a Ford with a Merc bumper.

I'm that guy. People have heard of me, no one knows who I am.

I'm glad you like them. I appreciate the shout out. Did you talk Kevin out of one of the CCR cups I gave to him?

This was a really well written article, in my opinion, about how much a single car can impact someones life, i have this feeling with dads old merc. My brother was glad he got to meet the builder and his son and spent a long time talking with them

The night before I left for CCR I was doing some picture cups for a customer and decided to make a few with the CCR picture (the one on the shirt) I gave them to Kevin and told him to do whatever he wanted to with them.

To keep this on topic, I'll include some pictures that probably won't make the CCR Annual.

Just P M @John B for the business card displays. I bought mine last fall. They were in the classifieds.

That looks like that was a super show! I wish the KKOA show would attract more customs. That's what KKOA was suppose to be. It seems they are letting more and more cars in that do not fit.

Your head is mounted on a pivot... if you don't like what you're looking at, turn away.
