1952-59 Ford 1956 Customline Fodor garage find.

    I had this exact same year and model in high school. Found this one earlier this year. 72k on the odometer. I'm going to turn it into a daily driver. And oddly enough someone added the factory power steering setup to it at some point. Thank God I found this collective of old ford knowledge.

    Nice find! Hard to find anything with that low of mileage, looks very original right down to the fender skirts. I have always liked that Customline trim package as it really lends itself to the two tone treatment extremely well. Welcome to the group.

    Yeah I was really amazed how well preserved and un-muked with it was. Changed the fluids. Drain and refilled the tank. Did a function check of the brakes new battery and drove it home.

    What makes you think the PS was added later. Fairlane horn rings said it. Not sure on a customline. One was next to me a few years back at a show and had PS stock. It was a Victoria.

    Customlines and Fairlanes used the same horn ring as far as I know.
