The result of lack of control is the decline in quality of life that we experience today. 1931 was the year Simons Drive Inn started in business. It was located at Sunset and Highland. The picture is circa 1948. In 1951 it was sold and became Stans Drive Inn . It was a place to see and be seen if you had a hot rod or custom. It was demolished in 1971.
