Technical Lynn Quick Change

    Can anyone give me any information about a Lynn quick change? My cousin bought a 70’s circle track late model that had this rearend in it. Has the big brakes and 8 lug wheels. Seems to be in good working order.

    Never heard of a Lynn, but its cool that it was made in St Paul!

    Those are Ford F2 side bells made by Timken. The champ quickchange rear was solely designed around the F2 side bells of the Timken. It used either two left sides or two right sides, can't remember which.

    Yep...early Halibrant Champ Car QC’s were designed to use the truck bells too!

    Is there a market for them?
    I bought two old Franklands, one with aluminum bells and one with truck bells (heavy bastard that one is), both full floaters with the truck axles in them.
    I used the one with aluminum bells in my project.
