I have included a picture of this wheel out of a 1969 Mickey Thompson catalog. The catalog lists this wheel in 14” and 15” X 6 1/2, 8 1/2, and 10 inch widths. I’ve also included a 1969 magazine ad that shows it in 14” and 15” and only in 6 1/2” and 8 1/2” widths. I have also seen this wheel in just a regular slot wheel rather than the raised window pictured. I have seen both styles with Medallion in scripted on back side. I have had several of the 14 X 6 1/2 wheels and finally a pair of 15 X 8 1/2. Have never seen a 15 X 6 1/2. Been looking for years for a set of 15 X 6 1/2. Does anybody have any enlightens on this subject?
I've seen those in the 14" size, but never any 15" sizes. Back when I was a kid I used to think they were Halibrands from a distance away.
Probably private label ET's, easier to mold a plastic center cap then it is to start and run a wheel foundry
Go back to the original post he quoted then click on the photo THERE. That is the only way it worked for me.
