So my '26 T is on an A frame with a banjo rearend and I'd like to have a functional hand brake for safety and parking's sake. I saw this picture on the web which looks exactly what I'm going for but I can't identify some of the parts, I'm pretty unfamiliar with this stuff. My car already has the exact same style cable in place, one big loop like this one would use, so that's no problem, but what handle is this, and what is the piece that loops underneath the transmission? Is that an early Ford part I could find somewhere, or is that fabricated? I have a Model A handle/arm that works but if there's a better solution I'd love to hear it. Would definitely like to keep this 100% period correct/historically accurate if possible. Basically I'm looking for a shopping list of parts to replicate what this setup has. I have the same transmission and very similar pedal layout so this would be ideal.
That's a simple bracket mounted on top of a 39 tranny for any mid 30's parking brake. It's in the Tardel book. Rich

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, thanks the-rodster! Those pics and that explanation tell me everything I needed to know.
