GOOD PIX!!!---------I used to run at Santa Ana in 1952. Lots of inovation & ideas! This was the time WAY before when the "Little Guy" had fun prior to big bucks moving in & putting the novice in the grandstands as "Observers" I guess that's "PROGRESS".
Not really..... You could just move down the ladder cl*** wise, until your car and budget fit happily together. Sadly around this time frame the phrase..... Speed costs money- lots of money . How fast you want to go? OK I added the lots part but still holds true.
40 ragtop those pictures are at Dover Dragstrip. Little Giant obviously, the dragster not so much, looks like it says A/D or AA/D. I always look to see if I'm in any of these pictures, I took a lot but have never been in any. Pat
