54th Annual Swap Meet | Ozarks Antique Auto Club

This is the big swap meet in Springfield, Missouri, that's always the same weekend as the H.A.M.B. Drags

 

What's the best time to get there for buyers? I know I want to get there earlier than the last couple times I went. But don't want to show up before all the vendors are there and setup.

 

Spectator entry opens at 7am

Vendors can get in early at 6- probably 60-80 come in then- the rest get in at 7 like the spectators. The heavy time for spectators is about 8:30-10, so I'd get there to start walking at 7.

Lynn, unfortunately I'm not even going to be there. But since it's one of the better swap meets I thought it would be good to remind fellow hambers.

Currently there is not one thing that I would be looking for so it wouldn't do me much good to go.

 

C'mon atch......the good stuff isn't necessarily what you're LOOKING for, it's what you FIND that you just can't live without!

You're correct. I hardly ever know what I'm looking for until I see it.

 

Nor-Cal: Summer Turlock Swap Meet August 15, Sunday - Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, 900 N Broadway

 

I got there at 9, had to stop and get the kid some breakfast. Hard to get the teenage daughter up and ready to get there any sooner. But as long as she is still into the old stuff i'll take what I can get.

I found several good bargains, so all in all a good day. Probably grab a spot to sell before the year is out. Have a swap meet parts pile that is getting pretty big.
