Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Ed Kasperek, Aug 7, 2021.

  1. I have a Rotary 2 post lift model SPOA 7.
I need to replace the slider blocks in 1 side
Anyone have any experience doing this project?

Ed I would get a hold of Rotary and ask them, you will need to buy the block from them anyway.

SVI in Delano, Il probably stocks the parts you need.
They are an aftermarket supplier of lift and hydraulic components for lifts and other garage equipment.

  4. I had the Rotary guy here to look at it a month ago. He poured a 1/2 pint of additive to the tank and said that the noise would go away....didn't louder now!

I can see that the slider block is worn away on 1 side
I need to find out how much work to replace blocks

  5. The slider blocks are readily available.
I 'd like to know how to do it prior to ordering parts

They replaced ours at the shop a couple years ago. They disassembled it and laid the posts down on the floor to get the cariage out of the top of the columns.

  7. Do you recall how many people were needed to to lay the post on the floor?

Just did this on mine. Unhook the cables, hydraulic hoses and removed the arm's. My son and a friend laid it down. Unbolt the top cap and unhook the chain, slide the carrier out. Mine is the type without the top crossover with the stop. 61nB56T0zVL._AC_SL1000_.jpg Please ignore the late model OT POS.
