I have my seats and carpet out to do some floor pan repairs. Both seats have this tag on them. I've learned some much from this forum from reading tons of post. Any ideas?
BA = Engineering prefix for full-size Ford car 1952-1954 72 = Body Style 667000 = basic part number for the seat cushion****embly - need to look this up in the Body & Soft Trim catalogs to see which cushion it is for. B-P-6-5-52 = I have no friggin' clue SSS-LA = No friggin' clue, but perhaps this is related to the manufacturer/subcontractor for the seat springs/cushion. MFD. 3-54 - should be obvious that the cushion was****embled in March 1954.
Thanks Yutan Flash. The 3-54 was the only thing I could make sense of. 72 for club coupe made sense after you separated it from the other numbers. Maybe there a difference in seats for club coupes vs other models. It seams there are common parts between 52-54's, my center hump in the floor pan is stamped 3-25-52. Thanks again.
