The Southeast G***ers ***ociation put on a great show & I got to hang out with Sam @57 HEAP

The bright sun did funky things to the camera settings. Enjoy!

Ed, the gold A launches HARD; it belongs to a Hamber who's name escapes me.

He made it to the *(correction::oops:) SEMI* final round but his clutch appeared slipping & he red lighted.

    ETs aren't displayed.

Thanks for the pics. SEGA always puts on a good show. That Model A sedan is owned and driven by Gabe Burrell.

I can Imagine what that ride would be like ,side stepping clutch 6,000 or plus ,You knew my car I could not launch it hard I had a roll in the throttle and you had to drive it on 6 inch wide tires @ 100 in 1/8,

Gary, did you Like it!! It's like going to a car show, but then the Real show begins. Kryponite is a Studie coupe, which is a little on the rare side. Gabe/ Southern Flyer Model A is on here, sonic03bluegt (or something like that). The majority of these cars/trucks not only run good, but look good. Lots of details to look at ( I see Gary found some)and really too much to see in just one visit. These people have fun and aren’t afraid to help one another, but play to win when the helmets go on.

    Thanks for posting these. :)

It seems all the Sega guys that USED to post in here regularly have flown the coop to other sites. :(

Banger, most are on Instagram or fbook and Lots of videos on you tube. Some are extremely busy with all the things related to racing and real life matters. A few missed the Radford race because of himicane Fred and other more pressing matters ( racing is still a hobby for most). If you go on to SEGA website you can find team profiles, the rules for all cl***es, and other items of interest. One of the Main reasons I keep a fbook account (my daughters’ attempt to keep me up to date) is to stay abreast of the happenings of the SEGA. Over the years, I have met some great people, seen amazing race cars and some awesome racing. Never disappointed, except not being able to take it All in! Take in a race and see for yourself, Carp.

How 'bout a combined VA/MD HAMB get-together? It's a long drive, but well worth the effort!:)
Let me know when you need an extra hand. Would love to see your steel 5W wheelie-ing away from the starting line.

Don, you really do need to try and make one of these shows, the SEGA bunch put on a outstanding show and it really does feel, smell and sound like the day's when g***ers were kings.

Around my neck of the woods there is always a crowd of hot rodders that create a show in the parking areas.

    It's addictive. HRP

Check out the go pedal on the Stude. Maybe why he had so much trouble.

Better hurry! The SEGA track announcer stated that they would return to Radford next year, but if the crowd didn't improve it would be the last time. Not sure what the other events are like, but if the spectator numbers are low, then they will look elsewhere.
