^^ I took that photo at Road America in 2021. It is an outstanding car.

Quick the above post reminded me that Corvette Carlisle is wrapping up today. I saw 6 OT Corvettes heading south on rte. 209 in Kingston Thursday. I do miss going there.

I used to go every year, but have quit. The last time I went I would say less then 5% were older the 1980. Two guys all decked out in the hat and T shirt were looking at a '57. One says to the other ," you can tell this is an old one because it only has two headlights. " How pathetic. When Chip was still alive he always had a good selection of cars he invited, called Chip's Choice. They were in building T. I miss him and his touch at Carlisle.

Being a street racer from the 70s I still like the unassuming look with a Hell of alot of HP under the hood, when done playing, you do the switcharoo and put it back as stock. Good Times! DSCF0047.JPG

El that is an amazing car, I've never seen it. Must be around 68/69 a 64 Corvette blown and injected running at Dover. I like it!

In the spirit of Moriarty photographing his 61 in front of Scotty B's I thought I could maybe for once take mine up a notch. I took the wife to Hell for dinner the other night and actually my burger "to die for" IMG_0816.jpg was quite good. Here is a picture of my red car at the Hell Saloon in Hell Michigan. A nice drive on the back roads and spending time in Hell without feeling the heat-not bad.

And you were able to leave on your terms. I'll take a good burger over a steak any day.

I could hope it is a wonderful place where we can be with our creator, visit with old friends and occasionally drive our Vettes in the clouds.
