I've got 2 sets of 59 Merc tail lights but I just don't know the models that they fit. One set is MRST59A and the other set is MSRT59B. They are physically a few inches difference in length. Anyone know what these fit?
Suggest you do a Google search for “1959 Mercury tail lights”……or just “1959 Mercury images”. Should bring up lots of pics that will indicate usage by model. Ray
The ‘59 station wagon looks to be shorter than the others. And probably is, due to the amount of space needed for the tailgate Google; 1959 mercury tail lights (Ray beat me by a little bit)
Might it possibly be that the ones without the chrome bullet in the middle of the lens are for a '57 Merc and the others with the bullets are for a '58 OR '59?
I'm pretty sure the plain (without bullets) lenses are '59 Parklane, and the shorter lenses are '59 wagon. Somebody with a 56-59 parts book can tell application for sure. A little digging shows: MRST 59 fits regular passenger cars MRST 59A fits Parklane MRST 59B fits wagon only
