    That picture has been the wallpaper on my computer since 2008 and is the inspiration for my roadster rebuild...which has also been going nearly that long. :rolleyes:

  13. I believe the term HighBoy is with a 32’ rails, AV8 is know when model A frame is used
    Hell could be wrong HighBoy are east coast ,Channel east coast .. later

    A highboy is an originally fendered car with the fenders pulled off, at stock or close to stock ride height, no channel, usually with no chop or a mild chop.

    An AV8 is just a Model A body with a flathead V8, frame doesn't matter. I don't think 350s etc count.

    Those" etceteras " have never counted! , way back in the late 50s early 60s one of the flathead gurus here in NZ, is said to have proclaimed "ohv V8 engines are just a passing fad! " he still drives his blown flathead powered hotrod.
