I am back in town this week and next, so if you guys are looking to get one of these CD's or a thumb drive, I can mail them out. Sorry about the schedule for those of you that have been waiting.

Back to the front page - I just received a supply of 8 GB thumb drives. It looks like most of you guys are going that route.

Looks like this is a MUST HAVE for info on our cars. And the price is more than worth it for the information to be had. I'll send an email when i get home to my home computer to get a pay pal invoice.

I think I bought this years ago. It has been the best thing for disassembly and now****embly. Thank you for making it electronic and hyperlinked. within the PDF.

this thread got buried about 5 pages deep, thought I would bring it back to the front fellas...

  15. Hey Danman,
Does this include the 1953 215 inline six? What about trans repair, drive train, suspension and electrical stuff?

Jerry - my bad for not seeing this question. This thread got buried and I had not visited the group for quite some time. I guess I need to "watch" this thread. The answer - the 53 is included with diagrams and part numbers but there is nothing about repair, tech, troubleshooting. These are digital copies of the 1949-59 Ford Parts Manuals - one gives the diagrams and the other gives the part numbers per year.

Bumped up to the top again fellas. Some of you may want to check out my personal website at HotRodReverend.com/blog - lots of videos, photos, etc all categorized on the 1955 Ford, Y Blocks, and other 50s Ford information. Someone must be logging on - I am getting over 1000 hits a month on that thing so... bots maybe?

I'll raise my hand as being a frequent visitor to your blog. It has been invaluable and taken a lot of mystery out of some of the tasks I've had to do on my 55. Good work!

My kid ordered the CD using the item number you gave and it was $18 (not a problem) but I was wondering how you would get one for the $14 price? NOT asking for a refund or anything, just curious! Thanks, Mark

In the ad you quoted you can see that I list both my physical address - a number of guys like to send me a check in the mailbox which is fine - and my email address. If you send me an email with the request I will send an invoice in return that can be paid via any credit card or a PayPal account. You do not need a PayPal account to pay the electronic invoice, any credit card is fine.

FWIW, I am out of town at the moment (my eBay listings give the time frame since I have a store) and if you are the one from Oregon that ordered on eBay you can certainly cancel your order and we can do so the other way - either by you sending a check or by me sending you a PayPal invoice via email. Whatever you would like to do is fine.

Just so everyone knows - the price difference/discount for you guys here in group is because I do not have to pay a fee to eBay if you purchase from me directly. I only pay a fee through PayPal. The post office charges me about $4 to ship since I have to use the First Class package rate for CD shipping.

My son bought it for me as a Christmas gift so I won't have him cancel the ebay order, he can afford the extra $4!

Daniel. You could be sending these CD's by USPS Media Mail (i.e. "book rate") for much less than First Class as CD's are considered Media Mail.

Thanks Alan, I have shipped via Media Mail at times and usually it is around $3.15 or so. The only issue that some have is that these days that method of shipping can be quite slow. I have lost a few of those in the mail, but I will have to say that with First Class I have never had a problem.
