... but for very personal reasons, my favorite BLUE Hot Rod would be my friend, the late Bill Burnham's Ol' Blue '29 Hiboy:

They're both dark blues. Federal Blue may be the postwar name of Washington Blue. If you want dark just put it over a black base. I've done a lot of posts about mixes and bases. It all makes a difference.
