Hey Deuces, those "Oysters" were still a staple part of the diet in Ft. Collins, Co. in the early 1980's with free samples during happy hour at those small taverns east of town in farm country on Friday nights. Even a Saturday night special at the "Goose Hunting Headquarters" in N. Co. at Bruce's Bar in Severance.
