Hello all, looking for some history on a 60’s built dragster. From what I was told, it originally was red in color, had the “Gun Slinger” painted on it, and originally ran a blower motor. The spoke wheels were replaced with discs in the 80’s and the old mags with center lines, an extra roll bar hoop added to make it legal to run and the last known place it ran was Woodburn in the early 90’s. It is now maroon, with a small block chevy alcohol injected motor. SEMA tag number 29, (Frank Huszar chassis) Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you
Worth a repeat. One can only imagine what all these guys were thinking when a woman had one of the fastest cars around. Keep in mind this was the early 50's and drag racing was not only a baby but it was a man's baby. Santa Ana flag start circa 1952. No idea why they are so close together or how the starter avoided being hit! https://wediditforlove.com/cj-history.html
