I normally don’t like hubcaps but those do look nice. LOVE the wide whites! Thanks!

. . . but then, for years, you'd have to describe to other what you did.

(As a former Studebaker owner, I'd just think it's stock.)

Any chance someone could do factory style steel wheels with the wide whites? Black or any color that would look neat, maybe red?

Thanks! You found the hood, haha! The previous owner let his neighbor kids use it for sledding so it’s no more.....

So this is a really great thread, as evidenced by the almost 900 pages.
My question, ( which has probably been asked before ) is how much time do you spend on each one to make the alterations for the various requests ?
    Thanks !

I cannot speak for others, but I usually spend 30 mi to an hour... Maybe a little more on some. I am a long time Photoshopper but pretty new to it here. :)

  9. 15 minutes to a few hours. Lowering and a simple chop or body mods can be very quick, but changing colours and cleaning up or removing the background can be a chore. The hard part is really the design - that can soak up a lot of time, trying out different ideas. You can be the best photoshop guy in the world, but if you can't make the car look good, it's no help.

1-5 hours, sometimes more. Depends on the photo provided. If the shot is a direct side or front view, it is much easier to chop or lower or add new wheels. Three-quarter views take much more time to get everything looking right.

Best pics to use are clear, large photos taken in the morning or late afternoon to avoid reflections and odd shadows.
If the car is on a trailer it can make photoshopping more difficult because we can't see how it sits on the ground. The better the photo you provide, the better we can help you see the end result.

^^^ This...and a clearly worded description of the mods you're interested in!

As others have expressed, I'm so grateful for the work done here in this thread.

It serves as entertainment and inspiration, and has likely helped avoid countless mishaps when the vehicle owner gets the opportunity to see that an idea doesn't really work like they think it would.

I'm probably slower than most, since I am not an expert photoshopper, but, as with the others, it can be as little as half an hour or run into several hours, depending upon the size of the job.

My quickie lowering and wheel swap took less than 10 minutes, most of that was waiting for the program to load on my computer, and searching out a picture I could steal the wheels off of that had similar dimensions and angles. But most of my stuff isn't very complex as I'm pretty amateur at this yet. I just figured out color changes and I'm not very good at it yet.

I do know enough that Madfish's making up a matching hood from scratch is pretty impressive, since there's no picture on the web you're going to be able to copy and import that from, it's much more difficult than a wheel swap or lowering. A tip of the hat to that particular job.

    thanks for your replies.
    - more importantly, thank you to all the photo shopper’s for all of the time, skill and input you selflessly give to help others with their projects.
I had expected around an hour or more, and am impressed with your commitment on behalf of others!
(although every thread that someone replies to, shows all of the above) - thanks everyone !

  17. Hey. Can someone help me have this color as close to the GM evening orchid as possible. Please :D with factory fender skirts. With both versions shown with the lavender? Thanks!

    Hey everybody.
Ive made a separate thread asking this same question, but figured I would try asking here too...

This winter, I'll be dropping the suspension and upgrading my truck to juice brakes and am considering changing things up with different wheels as well. Tires are brand new, so Ill be running 16 inch no matter what style wheel I go with. Im open to all ideas and suggestions, but am considering wires, steelies, or possibly keeping the, artillery style. but even then Im faced with the decision of what color to paint them.

I figured I'd get some input from you guys and maybe someone with photoshop skills can give me a
better idea of what the finished product will be with the lower stance and possibly different wheels.

    Thanks guys!

Would it be possible to get a photo shop in the blue and the green? Thanks in advance 53CB9E23-B0D9-49F7-9DD1-8158BF3D9655.jpeg View attachment 5232028
