The altitude adjustment is currently taking shape. 3" drop axle with 3" drop spring. The rear spring is on back order, but think I may need to flatten the crossmember some as well. The lady of the house says she likes the green. Happy spouse, happy house. So I will likely go the green. I was debating the return of the trim but I don't have it. I am likely doing Lincoln door buttons as I dislike relying on electric means to open my doors. Locking bear claw latches showed up today to start the process of figuring out a lockable push button set up that will clear the window.

@themoose we should meet in person some day as our artistic minds sure seem to think alike.

This photoshop is so close to what I had envisioned its crazy. It has been a total pain relocating the rear window opening 5" forward but I think it gives this homely coupe enough ass to drag with a taildragger stance.

Haven’t been on here for a bit and just seen this. Love the two tone with the hard top. Thank you! Like seeing different people’s perspectives.

Like the look just not the red though. Just my opinion. Definitely do what you like.

  19. As long as OP can see what his vision might look like in real life then my mission is accomplished..:)

  20. Moose, How about one more favor. Change the tires to the bias ply wide white walls and on Green Stellies with chrome trim rings and moons. Also keep the white fire wall.
I know I'm a major PITA but that's me and I thank you for all your help. Makes decision making much easier for me for sure. Thanks again.

  27. I Don't want to let out "Madfish". He and "TheMoose" are the best and they both do a super great job helping everyone out with decision making on their rides. Their talents do not go unnoticed and are appreciated by many. Thanks guys for all you do here on the HAMB

I can't speak for madfish but I'm willing to bet he feels the same as I do...I really enjoy seeing what you guys have in mind for you various projects and bringing those ideas to digital life. I've built a number of cars over the years and I've found out the hard way that how you envision something in your minds eye doesn't always look as you imagined when brought to reality which can represent a waste of both time and money. When I discovered Photoshop I decides to try using it to see if I could get a better idea of how some of the changes I wanted to make to a project might look and was pleasantly surprised on how good it worked. When I found this thread on the HAMB a number of years ago I thought I might be able to help other builders out and the more I did it I soon realized I was not only helping other people out but it was helping me out by improving my skills using the various digital techniques that are now available. Photoshop has become my second hobby seconded only playing with cars so I guess you could call it a win win situation.

Thank you Moose and hd1084. I appreciate the compliments and also the challenge of a friendly competition with Moose and James D. It’s fun to see how others envision the same project and the skills they bring to the table. I need to get back on board and participate more… I’m getting rusty. Not to mention, Uncle Brad has skills too, like where did he come from? LOL…... Happy Holidays.

. . . and take off the bra (were they traditional -- maybe with pointery harder nipples)?
