Added to that almost the entire electric car is now hazardous waste there is a real problem brewing. Right now if one catches fire and the fire department comes out the let it burn and no “wrecking yd” will take it..opps.

Recharging at night takes a fossil fuel plant that’s barely running or not running in the daytime because of solar/wind power.

Neighborhoods cannot handle a block full of electric cars and each normal load. The Utilities are ahead of the curve with smart meters and you may only get 1 hour a night for your electric car charging load when you need 3-4. You will complain but your 10 neighbors need it too. . . . . It’s going to be fun..

They're going to try to cram this down our throats despite the issues you noted, and others. The Brandon administration has already floated a fossil fuel vehicle buy-back trial balloon. They can't "buy back" what they didn't sell us in the first place.

Man, the things that people get themselves into a knot over.

As a long time subscriber, it's sad to see Uncle Tony has been dipping into tin-foil hat territory at least a couple of times lately. But I guess that's what it takes to get people fired up and viewing your YouTube channel anymore.

Fire Fighters here in Phoenix got a taste of fighting an electric car fire. Check out the Video. https://www.12news.com/article/news...fires/75-0fc3017c-36d0-4d84-a05a-10a73b928822

If ANY special training to fight electrical fires of electric automobiles the manufacturer should be responsible and pay along with ANY hazardous waste removal.
If additional insurance responsibilities should be directed to the vehicle owner and not the general rate payers. My aluminum pickup truck costs more to insure than a steel one due to its construction and I accept it.
Electric vehicle owners are not “special” people and should pay an addition fee for using the roads and byways since they do not pay in fuel taxes….. there are no free rides..

If and when a lot more electric vehicles hit the road, I can see the states imposing mileage taxes to replace the lost revenue from the fuel taxes. That idea has already been floated in some areas.
