I just ordered my second one. The first one is going in thr chopped tudor with a bead blast finish. The other one will be painted and is going in grandsons model A RPU. They are just awesome pieces. Great job Joel in the design and production of great dash panels.
Well, if I were you... I'd build a '28-29 A tub with a hallock style windshield to put one of these panels in! Thank you, its been quite the learning experience! Thank you, Dale! Your support is very much appreciated. That sedan is bitchin'!
I've got about 30 left, I'm running a sale for HAMB members until March 31st, $200 shipped for the standard Aviator panel, $375 shipped for the Deluxe Aviator. PM me if interested! Thanks!
Got mine and bead blasted, clear coat then painted inserts, and clear coat again. Killer dash panel Joel, thanx
Thank you to those who have supported me in this endeavor! I've been blessed and humbled by the response, and it has been fun to see them go into cars around the world. I've still got about a dozen AVIATOR panels left, most of which are polished and ready to go. I am still thinking of doing a limited run of pearloid inserts or paintable 18g plain steel inserts. If interested, please contact me via PM. THANK YOU again to all of you who have supported this effort.
Well, a year and change later I've sold 65 of the limited production run of 100! I've got a few ready to go if anyone needs one. If you've put one in your car, post up a picture! Thanks again for all your support!
Still in mock up stage but fits perfectly on the 32 dash for my 28 Roadster Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
These are BACK IN STOCK! If you missed out on the first run of 100, I've had the foundry cast up a few more...
Thank you very much! I appreciate it! As seen in Modern Rodding Magazine in Don Demers' ultra bitchin' Model A Coupe:
@Pinstriper40 you are quite the Artist in everything you do...That dash has a bit of a Thunderbird vibe way before it existed...
...AND Congrats on the Ink and Noteriety...These are but one of the fringe benefits of being a Hamber...Being amongst this Diverse Group of Hoodlums...I'm wondering how your smallblock swap went and I remember you were working on a Custom 47ish Ford...Time to go Snooping...
Very nice piece, would like to see more pics with owners final touches. I like the room on the bottom, do you think an ignition switch would fit?
What would you like to know? Yes, they were designed bottom-heavy in order to provide space for indicator lights or ignition. I would put an ignition button on the dash instead of a switch with keys hanging down, just for aesthetic purposes.
I found your website. I was mainly wondering if the machine turning was an option or if the owners were doing that.
Yes, it's an option. It's an insert that goes between the gauges and the panel itself. I am going to do a few sets white pearloid inserts as well.
I've got a few panels available right now with the white pearloid inserts... These will be ultra limited edition panels! PM me if interested!
