Not really and depends on when that photo was taken, There were plenty of nice used Corvettes around when in 1971 I purchased my first at 19, a damaged (mostly mechanical) '59 Conv. for $300 and put it back together. A few months later, I purchased a low mileage, highly optioned, black on black, mint '67 Coupe for $2100. A lot of my friends owned Vettes for a lot of years and we were all mostly working class guys. Keith
