Due to health conditions I can not drive my Pickup from Phoenix to Colorado. I am requesting suggestion on companies that you have used and any suggestions that you may have.

Sorry, that I didn't include that I would like it shipped around the 3rd week of May. I have found a source for the transport.

    Thank You for your comments.

Guys in the Hamb-0dex. When do you need it hauled? Not the best weather.

Last count, most of our car haulers close down for the winter - It just is not worth the risk to their equipment.

The answer might be different if you can defer the move to better weather.

Since you mentioned that you can’t drive it yourself, if the truck is road worthy you could pay someone to drive it, and and airfare back.

  6. Yes, out of the 3 QUALITY Transporters in the Hamb O Dex Section (BenD, David Phelps & Myself) Dave is the only one going out & up that way. Unfortunately he just told me he is looking for something coming back east from Colorado, so he may not be able to help this time. He might chime in that something has changed, but since I brought him onto the Hamb to help out with all my overflow, we keep in constant contact with scheduling. I trust him & Ben completely when it comes to honesty, experience & respecting the customers. They are both also car guys which should be a must for a transporter

    God Bless

Hope you are enjoying your time away from the road, Bill. I'm betting it's not time "off"!

I've never used any of the private transporters but I have used Reliable several times with good results.

    I’ve used all of them.

Ben,Bill, ( sadly gone ShoTime Rick) , Jim , Reliable, not David but wouldn’t be afraid to as his referrals are all positive and would use David if it worked out schedule wise.

That being said - no guarantees nothing will happen beyond anyone’s control.

  11. I have been in business hauling year round
( subject to prevailing weather conditions )
since 2006 - on the HAMB since 2008 - on
    The Ford Barn since 2010.

I just dropped of this Model T Speedster earlier
today to Mark Wyant ( passenger seat ) who
has plans to drive it from Addison, Texas to
Galveston, Texas in conjunction with the opening
of one of the Oldest & Grandest Hotels in Texas
    built in 1910 ….

The Builder & Seller recommended me to transport
    it from California …

Personally - I would not schedule transport in or
out of Denver until the Spring - the driving
conditions do not allow for safe travel.

I stepped up my schedule & left the Dallas
area earlier today to head up to Omaha, Nebraska
ahead of a major winter storm to pick up
this 1909 Lambert Runabout headed to Florida.

  12. Only 795 miles... see if a local transporter/tow company is interested.
