Interesting man and his love for a old race car. HRP

 

That was fun ! I have a 1961 CAE sprint car wreckage, and thats the plan if it ever gets on top the list

 

The first “built” y block I had was in 1968. The crank work receipt was from B&G. I don’t recall normal engine (automotive) work as being a mainstay then, but for the crank grinding they were the best in town.

Mine isn’t old but I’ve had a number of folks ask where I found it. Sure get some stares when your Cruzin down the road.

Seeing that car being driven on the streets is amazing, totally out of place but looks so right.

Truth be told the car looks like it has been around for many years, just goes to show you did a amazing job making it lot period. HRP

That has got to be a blast to drive! I can only imagine what the other drivers are thinking when they see that on the road...

 

My guess is they ain't thinking at all, most are busy texting and not paying attention to what's going on around them HRP

 

and the ones that do happen to notice would say look at that old dune buggy

 

I heard that said about my Model A pickup a lot back in the 70's , that's a cute dune buggy! HRP

 

Enter Omaha 33 chopped 9"..the bare essentials but seen on the streets & beach as well !

 

That video is awesome...I saw it a while back and made me think hey maybe I could make my ole Jalopy a street driver...then someone bought it from me so....live and learn

Maybe the next one I will drive on the street....hopefully I have enough time left on this earth to do another...
