Will put a 4” 90 deg brake to mount the electric fuel pump and filter… It has to be mounted 45deg… so my bends will be inventive to say the least
Marked out holes for mounting... I have a lot of nit-picky things that need done here... everything is a nightmare. Wrong bolts, wrong tools, shit lying everywhere. Just frustrated all around. The end product will be great, but getting there will require patience, calm, time, layout, marking, measuring, cutting and executing. Right now it seems like everything is just going wrong.
One side flange completed. A whole lot more to go with mounting points for a bunch of different sub-units... I've been using my Beverley shears! This will be a very stout structure when completed...
Do you have any experience with these batteries? First time I'm seeing one. Interested to know. I had an Odyssey PC680 that others have used, and it wouldn't turn over my 10:1 SBC...... not sure if it was defective or low on charge or whatever, but I was unimpressed and hesitant to buy something like that again.... Although seeing those NOCO sizes and weights is causing me to reconsider....
Never had an issue… just make sure you get high cold cranking amps. I’m running a 6 volt starter so even easier to crank!
I decided to get the other side in order… here it is on the brake. I had around 1/16” space to dial it in.
