I cannot recall where I found the first picture but it looks like Bill Sakata and his T. Other photos are of the same car. bill sakata.jpg Billy Sakata 1.jpg Billy Sakata 2.jpg

The green one we built and the red one was built in 1972 in England, I rode in it when I was 17 years old in 1978. I can’t believe I own it now, 43 years later.

What is this body? The cowl area looks extended and overall length of body is longer. C048FC30-B2D6-4A52-AF0D-0F73FF7895E7.jpeg

  7. Appears to be right-hand drive, between that and the fenders it looks British or Australian.
@Nads know anything about this one?

No but like others have said with a Ford Y block, blacked out fenders, and RHD Aussie or Brit I would hazard a guess

The green T with the Edsel grill is really thinking outside the box! I really like it!

You wouldn't see them for long.

  19. I could probably fit in it. I'm 5'6" or so. My "T" is pretty snug. I've driven it for some long distances, but as I get older, it's getting harder to drive for that long.

  20. My buddy just bought that car. Him and I drove it around the other day and the fitment is better than it looks!

Aussie car built by the MacDonald Brothers of Melbourne. Was at the first Aussie Street Rod Nats in 1973, unregistered so they had to tow it around. Was still on the road in Canberra but got sold recently and I don't know where it is now.

What year approximately was this picture taken? That chassis has 4 bars front and rear.

just a guess but looking at the redlines and wheel type i'd say solid mid-sixties. '65/'66. also, note in the upper right hand corner the wheelcover is the style seen on the '65 chevelle (z-11) and other gm and mopar cars of that time.
