Have our box location figured out, it’s a tight fit. 64BB5B5C-737A-4F1A-B082-10AED0A58A49.jpeg 7E1E60E2-017B-429C-8342-C09BA60EA8E7.jpeg BA2782D4-FA79-470C-B20B-E55C4FB98050.jpeg

Looks like you'll just have room for the center exhaust outlet.

Center will not be a problem but he rear Will be dang close. We will build a kick ass set of headers so I’ll make them fit.

To gain more room have you considered mounting the box on top of the rail ?

Have our front shock/headlight mounts done on the front. I had a chunk of heavy wall square tube that I cut for the top mount. Did this start out as an F-1 shock mount and part of a headlight bar?

It sure is, shortened the f100 mount reclocked it to fit the frame and then used the ends of a model A headlight bar

    Am loving this build.
Where did all the Model T roadster trunk lids go?

I wish I knew. I’ve heard story’s here in the states during the Great Depression trucks got more gas ration stamps so if you had a car you pulled the trunk lid off and slid in a pickup box. My pops model A roadster had that done to it and I’m guessing this T had it done also.

That's the story I've always heard. It makes sense as it wasn't just T's and A's that this happened to

I've heard that a lot were pulled off and used as sleds. What's weird is seems disproportionately Ts. I don't see as many other makes/ models missing their kids. Except 33/34 Dodge and Plymouth coupes, they seem to all be missing too.

I found a 35/6 inner drive shaft here on the hamb to build a set of lakes headers. Been brutally cold here but I did find a bit of time to warm up the shop and get the drivers side built and tacked together. Minus temperatures definitely suck but I have a decent furnace in the shop so if the doors stay shut it’s a very workable environment although the concrete is a bit cool.

Have both headers built and tacked together. I still need to add the dumps to route exhaust under the car. 0FFB9BBE-B901-40EF-84CE-39F7F5C4EB30.jpeg I’ve also got the steering box mounted to the frame. I had to bend the steering arm on the spindle down to get the draglink on a better plain. I also bent up an old 41 Ford drag link to work around the radius rod it will be replaced with a new one when we get a little further down the road. 99295ED9-B960-4BC6-B233-76D9B732288D.jpeg
