Hot Rods help finding an old build thread.

There is an older build thread of a young man in a wheelchair building a hot rod pick up. ive been searching and searching but can't find it. I want to revisit his build, it was very informative!

 

What year and model car?

 

i cant claim the year of the truck, 30's ish. ended up finishing it with white paint. did a suicide front suspension set up.

 

Don't remember a pu, but a guy over in England, Paul, I think, had done a 50's ford(?) delivery van. Very nice job. Very cool guy. He's passed awhile ago. CryptFink was his handle here. I think. There were, iirc, a couple of guys posting on his thread about doing one of their own.

There was a Kripfink in England who has passed,
He had a custom '54 Ford Panel,
I don't remember a pickup with suicide front..?

 

Are you thinking of the netflix show fastest car. The guy in a wheelchair has a white 30s pick up

 

No I was following his build in real time. It was a young kid who had a motocross accident I think and left him paralyzed from waist down. He was doing all the fab work himself with a little help but man it was such a kool build. Man if I had to put a date on this , I’m think around 2014/2015.

 

I’ll check out this Netflix show though.
