……. Those 426 max wedge “Super Stock”, stage II and III, were the badness wedge engines built from 60’s until who knows when. The intake ports on those heads were so big, that only that short ram manifold would cover them. If you tried any other big block Mopar manifold from that area on the heads, there was at least 1/4 to 3/8 inch intake port opening showing above top edge of manifold.
