No, not from around me, I think, we has atleast 25-30 of the 1932's ( roadsters, 5w, 3w ) in a area 30 minutes from me, most Henrys.
I has friends that are experianced hot rodders ( metal workers ) and I has also called Micke Fors not that far from me and he knows pre war hot rods ( been in buseniss for a long time here )
That said it's not wrong to ask around asking question.
I'm not new in like hot rods but never own or build one and need to learn me the 'talk' and the style.

I've just checked the VHRA Pendine results list for 2017, and his name is Jan-Olof Odahl, if the OP wants to ask around contacts in Sweden to see if he is local.
Maybe worth the OP contacting Kent from the A-Bombers, as if anyone in Sweden knows how to contact the guy it will be him, or someone else in the A-Bombers.

Checked up and the A-bombers is south of Sweden, I’m 3 hours north Stockholm.
So not ’that’ far from me but a days drive south.
I don’t know anyone ( or few ) outside my field here with hot rod guys, but the A-bombers look like cool cats.
-I pretty much has my style ready and guys I rely on when it comes sharp metal.
I do need ask more here if that is Ok.
I will also show what parts I bring home and plans.

  5. Feel free to keep asking. Most of us love helping others get a hot rod on the road!

If I guess it went to Finland.
Car in that style is popular there.

That ball end is just what I had in mind as thats is a old concept. This bracket what car/tractor does it come from ?
I had a idea has half ball in frame that might be neat.
    Thanks for picture.

I look at my Ferguson tractors cast upper ball holder ( half a cup and 2 bolts ) and I can lathe the other side if I like get the ball closer into frame ( weld it in ) for a even clean look.
    I like the cast deal.
Its a cool deal even if there is nothing wrong with modern ones.

-Now I realise if car will be low the mount will be under the frame ( I will use 32 wishbones ) vs the caster,
Larry Rollers coupe has them in frame and its low but I seen several that has mount under frame to.

I'll say this, if you are going to buy a new custom frame or rolling chassis from the states and have it shipped, Gary = Krylon32 also the owner of Cornhusker Rod and custom is a well respected frame builder who is known for the 32 chassis he has built. Plus for that reason pay serious attention to the advice he gives you. His chassis won't be the most inexpensive by a long shot but inspectors aren't going to find fault with them and he can produce a statement of origin.

As for your body of choice, there isn't any way that you could call inexpensive. Even beat up hulks that will test the skills of the finest metal workers Sweden has to offer aren't cheap.
I'd agree with those who say that coming over to a major event fully prepared to buy a car at the event or do some serious event price shopping and bargaining may be productive. I've had some serious deals offered to me around or after noon on Sunday when the vendors decide they really don't want to load something back up.

With that said, I'd have to say putting a solid plan in place that goes well beyond the "I've been told" factor. Part of that may be finding out what transmissions and pieces Swedish or other European or UK folks use that may be sourced there and used with an adapter made there. The 39 box, or other boxes are wonderful if you are building a 100% period correct down to the last detail car. A strong easily found locally for an honest priced 5 or 6 speed that someone over there makes and adapter for might be a more practical choice. You lose a few "wow dude" points but may enjoy the car a lot more.

I’m rock solid of a classic build up with classic parts.
    No new tranny.
The chassie I has now ongoing is just a perfect start.
The body issue makes me still worry but I hope I find a solution.
Chassie is a original 32 with pedals, firewall, driveshaft, front axle/bones , Lincoln 39 brakes, rearaxle is a 36 with bones and a Halibrand and Ford 40 brakes.
Lincoln 39 transmission and a 59A original engine.

Out if topics, but I has lost hope to find a body or a complete car with ol’ Henry.
Even if ’cheap’ at ex 50-70K I need sell frame and engine and it would be a very expensive body and also bad to take down a decent street rod.
I also found metalwork in US, ex in Ca as not for me.
I can pay big money for set of ROD heads but not 25K on a chop.
I also found Brookvilles pricelist very strange as web priving not quote pricing as unassembled as near pricy as assambled.

So my idea is get skins from Brookville ( part to part from Graiglist ) and see where it leads or if I can get a ’decent’ quote.
-Shore I guess most will call me a nut.
But at the moment I stay low on body and will focus on frame and engine.
Look forward on the engine works.

But back to thread, I’m hopelees into pinch the frame.
It’s a conflict with time era maybe.
