I posted a picture of my pickup a few pages back before I finished painting and putting the mirrors back on it. I was asked to post this particular picture on this thread. I think the flag in the picture... (with the wind blowing just right!!) makes a repeat appearance okay. I believe Larry would approve and I sure hope y'all don't mind. PS How often do you manage to snap it at just the right time? AND catch it pretty perfectly in a reflection. The picture taking gods were smiling on me that day... and I am thankful.
Probably been posted before, but cool enough for me to post it, anyway! (Pic is from a screen shot of a YouTube video)
For years Black on Black on Black meant Black paint, Black interior and Black walls. Everyone has he own interpretation of what it should represent.
that is a beautiful car ! refreshingly different. Worthy of posting it here also……. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tired-of-homogenized-hotrods.1002926/
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...enized-hotrods.1002926/page-224#post-14497304 ...Already made a couple appearances there and yes, rightfully so...
...Which is why when chiming in on a Thread it's always a good idea to read the first post to get the gist of the topic at hand...read and look at the pics provided...Larry clearly posted off color interiors, raised white lettering on the black walls...even full wheelcovers which I suspect the wheels on that one were black or he just never had a chance to revisit his OP and edit it...fair enough under the circumstances...may he rest in peace... Quoted... "All black with black wheels and blackwalls"
...I'll bet these birds are rare...and handy...quite the lookers...and shared here by one of you whose Thread I happened upon... Credit to Photographer, Owner
Ya know….I never met Larry in person. But…I still considered him a friend. I miss his wit, knowledge and passion for our hobby. Makes me smile every time this (or any of his threads) pop up. Keep those bad ass black cars coming!

@Davem32 you can also PM @rysemus via start a conversation......oh and What @26 T Ford RPU said... as we were pitter pattering in stereo before posting...
I have no problem with Black on Black on Black, but my 55 Tbird is Raven Black. However, I'm not fond of Highboys without fenders and running boards; but ok for Bucket-T
My Phone ran out of juice, but I captured a chunk of the good stuff...a lot of love given to so many of these rides... The Jalopy Jamup 2022... Rockton, ON
Self-checking, I found the definition of "Highboy." Apparently, if it has fenders and running boards, it's not a "Highboy." I still prefer fenders and running boards on 28-34 Fords.
