Will motorcycle tire hold up to the side loads of a heavier car?

 

Looks incredible! Quick question- did the roof insert change at all dimensionally around the perimeter after it was louvered??

Not that I noticed.
It did add a lot of strength.

I ran them on my old T and drove them HARD up in the twisties. Never had an issue.

When I put the stock spring under the car, it was WAY too high.

 

I made a jig and started de-arching each leaf in the pack.

 

I fabbed up the gas tank and battery brackets.

 

Seats mounted.

 

I used three flatheads and three transmissions to get the parts that I needed.

 

I'm using a 41 truck transmission, but it needed 34 type rear mount, and 34 type cross shaft and lever.

 

New flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing....

 

Tranny fastened to the motor, new truck pumps, ready to go in..

 

Time for the stock crossmember and frame horns to go.

 

Starting the sweep and pinch.

 

Trim and fit the new crossmember.

 

Motor mounts installed, mocking up the front axle.
