Sure looks like a GLASSIC ( with a G ) 1970s Florida replica built on Jeep chassis if i remember correctly. They built hundreds and also a convertible. This one actually looks pretty good compared to what it was and that was a one piece body including fenders and fueltank cover. Surprised it has,nt been named as such, or is it a no-no here. Pic from google where there are plenty more, keep a bucket handy.

  4. Indeed, there is no way that thing even looks like it's on a Ford chassis.

    And of course it's OT!

OK. I was getting it confused with the fibreglass copies of the 31 Deluxe (2 door) phaeton. Wasn't aware of these ugly looking cars.

I am moving this thread to the main board, there are way too many off topic street rods and bone stock tourings here for this to be in the trad custom forum

  7. How do my 3500+ likes find my tub page now, please provide the information, thanks John Lee Williamson

  11. To all my tub friends Moriarity one of the HAMB administrator has decided to and has moved my 75+ pages of tubs to the main heading:
    THE HOKEY ASS MESSAGE BOARD
So it is no longer under the "Customs" headings, so we are still here in:
    THE HOKEY ASS MESSAGE BOARD
There is no longer a direct link so you will have to scroll down the main board til you find it.

Please pardon my intrusion John Lee Williamson , but I would like to ask those that view this thread if they know of a 39 Ford Sedan Convertible left (drivers) side rear door that I could buy. It doesn't have to be perfect.I don't need any of the hardware (windows, regulators, window guides, or latch parts) , Just a door.

Sorry for the intrusion but I am getting close to having to reskin the door I have and it is not a job I am looking forward to.

  16. Please help out Sam if you have a drivers side rear door skin or a door for a tub (4Dr convertible). Sam, if you find a 4Dr sedan rear door you can make it work but you will have add some material at the rear cut line. He is "The 39 guy" here on the hamb

Nope no luck on the door..... We will be starting on that door soon. The skin is a a long way out of my comfort zone on skill set wise but we have two choices at this point, make it ourselves or hire it done. We will try making our own first. If that doesn't work we will try to find a professional to to the work.

  25. 39 Guy, a front 2 Dr skin will work if you can buy a doner door. It is a prety compound curve that will have to be done on a roller if you make it.
