Here is my swap meet haul. Stuff I don’t need. Stop sign. Bunch of old hose clamps. Two old headlight switches. 31 gauge cluster. Stewart Warner Amp meter. HAMB topper. Two old 3 bearing banger cams I plan to use as cores. Probably $75 worth of stuff. B13A970D-FAA5-4B22-87AD-0029D8AB2F45.jpeg

Doing small stuff today. Worked on moving the battery over about half an inch to give more clearance for the 39 tranny mount arms on the bearing retainer. Did a bit more pedal adjusting. Messed with the coolant petcock valve trying to stop the persistent drip. No luck yet. Also started creating a new tranny cover for the floorboard. The old one doesn’t fit right with the new tranny and emergency brake relocation bracket. 42AC81DE-9EE3-4CB3-A2C2-92CDDA680259.jpeg E1DEB97B-8CD5-4EE9-80F0-438491180680.jpeg

Here are a few pics of some of the shop tools I have made. Noting spectacular here. Just trying to get the job done. Anvil stand, vice stand, belt grinder, brake.

Ratty the Rusty Roadster walk around. Running and shifting pretty good. Time to try out the Mallory Dual Point soon.

First time running Ratty on the old Mallory Dual Point distributor. Runs awesome! I’ve been burning the ‘tire’ (a little bit). Thanks Skip!!!

  25. Doesn't look like you had much brake there. What is the plan?

I think these are 1940 spindles, backing plates, hubs. I am still collecting parts for my AV8 build. My plan is to send the spindles and king pins to Okie Joe to build me another 4” drop axle with correct camber. I have a 40 rear end with hubs I will rebuild also.

This is not what I expected. My wife thinks the 31 roadster is hers now. Makes me nervous.
