I was curious to see what this would look like it you took the "80's Hot Rod" treatment out and upscaled it. Just a thought.

I think the maroon would look good with Madfish's tutone wood. That is a big slab to have all one color.

  12. There is something about black with light colored woody's that always look high dollar to me.

I'm planning on changing the rear suspension and pie cut the frame so it sits like the Tom Daniels version.

Awesome thank you! Could you do one more thing for me? Were the frame meets the cowl. Could you drop the frame so everything forward of the cowl sits level.

Channeled 2 1/2” to leave the modified frame reveal showing raised rear wheel openings with bobbed fenders, mild 2 1/2” chop, set back firewall with modified hood rear edge shape, 33 truck and grille for the angle like the front door edge. Sorry about the in shop pic but the green tape is roughly the mod lines and I need to get this body done and one more before the channeled one can come in. I have a customer car to work through as well. So no hurry, just trying to get this out of my head. Tire sizes are probably about right it will get cycle fenders upfront to match the Bob fenders in the rear. Have no idea what color or if I will stick with black walls or go white walls, maybe ideas for hub caps? Have fun Something to give the Photoshop guys to do on their bored days

Wait....What?? I think you lost me. Is the car pictured 1st above the one you want to see modified as an example of how the one in the 2nd picture will look when done?

Yessir. I figured the pile of parts would be pretty tough to photoshop. Everyone asks why I call the the place Doug”s Salvage & Speed Emporium. I like to save things many people would scrap and everyone else’s shop is whatever hot rods customs or speed shop. The black car was rolled, cut off the floor pan with a torch and kept back for a stock car body. It is nearly ready to.go.

Hi guys! Can someone graft in this grill idea I have into my pic. Pleas remove the upper chrome bar from the bumper as well please.. keep just the bottom bumper with the new grill.. thanks much! I also plan on using the peaked 56 headlight bezzles as well. I think it'll work..
