That's neat, the interior reminds me of the pattern on the '55 Chevy "Delray" interior. Strange to see it in a bank, but I do like it.
Apparently he liked 32 Fords and fate met up with them in a 34 4dr Sedan... Even wrote Henry a Letter how much he liked them...it was the power of the V8 that impressed him...I suppose in the Lighter Body to the Big Cars it was good power to weight ratio and probably handled well... @ronzmtrwrx did you get a pic of the showcard...looks to be a hop up of some form... It even has Pie Crusts...I wonder whats under the hood?
I wish it was a give away car. I’d be after it. Actually it belongs to a local business man and customer of the bank. He has several cars and lots of other antiques and such. His people decorated all the branches with neat stuff and an antique car or truck in each lobby. They will rotate them around from branch to branch every year or so. It’s really pretty cool to see all of the old stuff. The last one here at our local branch was a model t speedster that was really nice.
Next time I’m in there I’ll take a pic of the write up they have on it. Seems like I remember reading that it had been in one family for a good part of its life , until the current owner acquired it.
The OP said bank but didnt specify what kind. Sperm bank with a hot rod in the lobby would be cool and attract depositors but I would have a sign on it asking the gents not to touch it till they washed up.
In this day and age of " smash and grab " robberies, I hope that cool car and the GULF gas pump, are not molested ! Pretty cool that the management likes to display it in the lobby.
How do I always miss the cool sh!t !? Bargains in the classifieds, barn finds and now hot pics !!! Always a day late and a dollar short......
