I'll say it again. My dad bought me a rifle from that war surplus store behind the flying A sign. If that's a 58 or 59 T-Bird it was about that time period. I was 12 yrs old. The rifle was a single shot 32-20. All I remember about it was it had a Kangaroo on it We had a house fire not long after that so that's probably what happened to it.
Funny how times change from this scene to people a few years back hoarding toilet paper like it was a tradable commodity.
